On a ROLLLLL

Welp. She failed. Only temporarily hopefully.

Found out today with the help of Joey W. that my cap n rotor were dinked. Plugs were fouled. Wires were carboning up. YIPPIE!!!

Got me a Haynes manual finally. Score.

Also got me some cheap, memorable... seats. Brett L. would be proud of these babies. Red vehicle, blue accessories. Bleh.

More promising news... I will soon have a SR!!! Will need work but, I'd want to rebuild a perfectly running one anyways.

That's all for meow.

Back on track

Been lacking in posts lately. Mainly because of all of the demotivation from parting, killing and selling my Stranger stuff.

Welp! I have something new to get the ball rollin' again.

Say hello to the D21 Hardbody!

It's a 2.4L KA24E (single cam booo) but, the direct injection model not stupid TBI Z24 one.
5 Speed 2 wheel peeeeel. 1994 Reg cab short box. First year of the new round dash interior. So sweet.

She sat for 2 years and started right up first try with the remains of the shitty old gas that was in there. So awesome.

With these things it's damn near impossible to find a clean one... let alone cheap. So I went with the best I could find. After driving around and looking at them in fields, barns, driveways in Niagara falls, etc etc.. I found this one nice n close in Cambridge and parked on a cement pad. Win.

Frame is AWESOME! Not one hole! Every other one I seen you could stick fist thru in multiple spots.

Bed however, is rotted. Typical. It's bearable for now especially since you don't see much of it due to the bed liner.

Holes in bed.

Nice undercoated frame. Mwahahhahaa.

Fixed some of the shitties today. The front brake line had a pinhole leak at the flex line connection. No biggie.

The rear line got demo'd when buddy wrapped chain around it to tow it. Oh well, it was leakin too it turns out in a couple spots in the line AND the passenger bleed screw was broke off. So new line, shoes and screw or cylinder. Not a whole lot of fixin. Usual new vehicle maintenance. Front rotors n pads are new. Rear drums are new. Just the shoes n line! WIN! Not bad considering it sat for 2 years and has over 300km on it.

Even got ambitious and extended my work bench. Shoulda measured how thick my board was. Whoops.

Can't wait to try drivin it with brakes! LOL Should be sweet.

Leave a comment of what you think plans should be for the build. ;)
