DAE think that Paul Lafrance has more awkward moments on Television than any other TV host? I look away when I watch Decked Out sometimes.  Yes I think I watch too much HGTV, not the women shows though, must be getting older... or maybe it's that I like seeing shit get done.  Watching people start projects and actually follow through and complete them is really inspiring to me.  Looking aside to the fact that some of these guys do it for money, which is not a bad motivator. 
My favourite show after GoT was House of Brian (HoB).  Brian is constructing a cottage for his family on a small island. No small feat, there's got to be a lot of passion right there. He comes up with a plan, starts building, shit happens, continues building, gittin' 'er done.

Here's what motivation and $$ has got me so far:

Have had a bunch of people approach me about the car since the facelift, hearing it looks sick n shit is super cool and all but I obviously didn't build it for other people.  It makes me happy, all that really matters.

More soon, suppose I should get some proper "hard-park" photos, take some by a tractor trailer, industrial back lot, the usual. Want sideways photos... who's quick with a camera?

Been a long time since I made a post.  My apologies, I bring you something interesting!
Picked up some slightly used aero from Dan's V8 S14. Threw in a mint oem hood too.

Still need to get everything painted, get origin blinker lenses, and find some lower skirts.  Very happy with how it's looking so far.

First of many things to be purchased this summer. Stay tuned.

we rolled out to the ERTEFA meet tonight in Vaughn. got some cool rolling shots for the compilation vid i'm slowly putting together.

my car broke and overheated. that was due to my own stupidity tho, so can't blame the car. Cory stayed behind to help with the repairs - mad thanks to him.

at least i got my new tires finally.

some pretty serious quality at these meets. makes me glad to still be into the car scene...even if i don't have a quality car of my own.

The turd bucket is coming along.

Turns out it's actually not that bad. It's not so much rotted as it is separated. 

The seam where the strut tower meets the frame rail separated more then rotted so that's going to be an ok fix. The rad support and mushed corner however... not so much.

The weekend was fun.

Bye bye SOHC. Makin room for DOHC and welding...

Finally got around to working on my subframe tonight.

Non-Hicas /w Hicas sway bar, solid aluminum bushing, VLSD (still don't like welded), Multi-Link, natural grease and grime rust protection.

Should feel every crack in the road now.

Emissions battle

So after the MTO telling me that the current e-test on the S13 would transfer into my name once I registered it was false information I had to get a new e-test.

On with the bullshit.

Said Ok... I'll just go get one. Worse that happens I find out what I need to do to make it pass.

Went to Oil Changers on Victoria. Bunch of chill, younger dudes that don't give a rats ass what your car looks like. They thought it was dope.

The car fit over their pit and onto rollers, barely.

After a bunch of laughing, here's the result.

At this point I remembered Brandon telling me he seen it shooting flames. Uh oh. Cat must be dinked.

The guy before me had welded the rear of the cat to the exhaust WITH the 2 bolts. Fack.

Had to drop the exhaust...

...and grind off the welds.

Perfectly gutted.

Herrow!

New cat went on but, exhaust wasn't lining back up. WTF? Turns out, that's what the welding was for. To fill the gap because the bolts weren't fully tightened to allow for a bend. FTS! BMFH!

Much better results. SO CLEAN but, still not enough.

Went on with some suggestions from guru's.

Changed the plugs, added methyl and retarded some timing. BAM!!!

LEGIT PASS!!
